Confessional language personality and its representational aspects in Old Believer domestic manuscripts

The research aims to prove the validity of studying confessional language personality (LP) by domestic written monuments and identify representational aspects means Old Believers’ worldview. material is original texts two diaries (1915–1923 1956–1975) personal notes (1940–1980) community members living in north Tomsk Oblast. total lexical volume these sources about 15 thousand word usages. analysis based on sociolinguistic portraiture method, which involves describing linguistic facts reflected different levels (graphics, vocabulary, grammar, etc.) authors’ qualities indicating their religious attitudes. We first examine LPs recognized a priori as confessional, then search for information verifying hypothesis them.
